Als hervorragende Erweiterung für beliebige Fullrange-Lautsprecher und perfekte Ergänzung für PreSonus® CDL-Series Constant-Directivity-Lautsprecher liefert der aktive Subwoofer CDL Sub18 eine straffe und homogene Basswiedergabe – angetrieben von einer integrierten 2.000 W Class-D Endstufe in einem einzigartigen Bassreflexgehäuse, das für maximale Effizienz sorgt. Mit seiner kraftvollen, detaillierten Basswiedergabe und den kompakten Abmessungen empfiehlt sich der CDL Sub18 als hervorragende Lösung für Festinstallationen und den mobilen Einsatz. Der CDL Sub18 ist mit einem 18" Tieftöner mit 4" Schwingspule bestückt, die mit 7 mm Auslenkungsreserve für mehr Luftbewegung und damit spürbar mehr Druck sorgt. Im Flugbetrieb oder als Groundstack lässt sich der CDL Sub18 mit einem CDL12P oder CDL10P zu einem kompletten PA-System kombinieren, das sich durch eine homogene Wiedergabe im gesamten Frequenzbereich auszeichnet. Mit Hilfe der integrierten Stativaufnahme können Groundstacks mit bis zu zwei CDL-Series Lautsprechern konfiguriert werden. Für noch mehr Bassleistung können zwei CDL Sub18 verbunden werden. Integrierte M10 Flugpunkte für eine hängende Montage der CDL Sub18 sorgen für flexible Einsatzmöglichkeiten in unterschiedlichsten Umgebungen. Über das integrierte Menüsystem lässt sich die Subwoofer-Leistung für unterschiedliche Live-Anforderungen anpassen. Hier kann man beispielsweise Presets zur Klangoptimierung auswählen oder über den variablen Tiefpassfilter den Übergang zwischen Subwoofern und Fullrange-Lautsprechern anpassen.

The CDL18s’ Unique Port Configuration
The CDL18s port configuration creates big bass in a compact cabinet. The four triangular ports are placed in corners so they couple to the cabinet and take advantage of the side walls to effectively elongate each port, allowing the CDL18s to move more air, while avoiding port chuffing and minimizing baffle reflections for better phase coherence.

The CDL Sub18 sports balanced XLR input and XLR direct output and menu-driven onboard variable low-pass filter, output power preset select, and polarity invert, giving you total control over your low end.
